Hi! I’m Barbara. I’ve been cooking gluten-free for more than fifteen years. Over the years, I’ve discovered that simply substituting gluten-containing ingredients with gluten-free ingredients is not enough when it comes to eating well. So I’ve adopted a diet based on whole foods (organic whenever possible) .
All the while, creating delicious and nutritious meals has remained my passion.
Even though I’m gluten-free, I still struggled to lose weight. And I knew maintaining healthy weight along with proper rest and exercise are key to increasing longevity and avoiding disease.
That’s why I started following a low-carb diet too. Over the first 10 months, I lost 20 pounds while following this diet! Gone forever. Yay! I share this not to brag; if you’ve read my blog for any amount of time you know that’s not me. I’m sharing it because I want you to know that this isn’t just any cookbook.
