Embracing a gluten-free diet marked a pivotal moment for us.

As we started on this path, a profound realization dawned upon us – the transformative potential of raw foods enriched with their innate enzymes and nutrients to facilitate the body’s natural healing processes.

Read how our food philosophy and mission developed.

Diving into the realm of raw, organic, and nutritious eating coupled with our commitment to shun pesticides and herbicides, solidified our belief in the untarnished power of natural nutrition.

We decided to incorporate these whole foods into our daily lives, and the Vitamix emerged as a cherished ally, gracefully taking its place in our kitchen. Vitamix for Gluten Free Smoothies

Our journey with the Vitamix has been nothing short of delicious. As avid creators of mouthwatering smoothies, we’ve crafted many effortless blends of flavor.

The Vitamix’s impeccable super-blending not only creates velvety-smooth shakes but also unlocks the potential of healing nutrients and fibers, that soothes our digestion and invigorates our bodies.

Central to the Vitamix’s allure is its remarkable power – a force that swiftly transforms a medley of ingredients into nutritious recipes.

Beyond smoothies, we were pleasantly surprised to learn about its versatility in crafting steaming hot soups like this broccoli soup with a touch of warm spices, baked goods like this cherry clafoutis, and luscious desserts like strawberry granita and scrumptious sweet potato pie.

The Vitamix defies convention by being a multifaceted kitchen companion that fits well with different cooking goals, all while minimizing cleanup time to ensure convenience.

In short, the Vitamix is like a friend on our wellness journey, helping us explore natural, unprocessed food. It quickly makes not just smoothies but also many yummy dishes, making it a must-have kitchen tool.

I always recommend  organic produce whenever possible. Organic produce is free of harmful chemicals and pesticides
Can I add other ingredients like protein powder or nut butter?
Absolutely! Customize the smoothie to suit your taste and dietary preferences.
Can I make a batch of smoothies for the week ahead?
It’s best to consume the smoothie fresh for maximum nutrient benefits, but you can refrigerate it for one day. However, keep in mind that separation may occur due to the natural settling of ingredients. Give it a quick stir before consuming.
Can I freeze the smoothie for later consumption?
Yes! Even freezing it in popsicle molds will make a refreshing pop for those hot summer days.

      Hi Kara,

Great question. Thank you for visiting.

A serving size can be anywhere from 8 oz. to 16 oz. You can store the remainder in the refrigerator. My husband and I have been drinking about a quart of green smoothies over the course of a day for about a year. It’s best to drink them on an empty stomach. We have noticed that as our diets have gotten cleaner, our digestion is better, our bodies are better able to fight infection and we don’t crave as many calories. We’ve each lost about 15 – 20 lbs. easily. So you may want to start small and work your way up.
